The Correct option is C

Explanation with High Yield Facts :

  • Gastrin is a hormone that stimulates secretion of gastric acid by the parietal cells of the stomach. It is released by G cells in the stomach and duodenum.
  • Somatostain- Delta cells (delta-cells or D cells) are somatostatin producing cells. They can be found in the stomach, intestine and the Islets of Langerhans in the pancreas.
  • Insulin is synthesized in the pancreas within the beta cells (beta-cells) of the islets of Langerhans. -One to three million islets of Langerhans (pancreatic islets) form the endocrine part of the pancreas, which is primarily an exocrine gland. The endocrine portion only accounts for 2% of the total mass of the pancreas. Within the islets of Langerhans, beta cells constitute 60–80% of all the cells.
